The second phase of national muralism will begin in the framework of the Bicentennial

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced this Thursday that a second phase of national muralism will begin within the framework of the Bicentennial of the Battle of Carabobo, in order to turn the cities of Venezuela into museums.

“We are going to a second phase of national muralism throughout the country in homage to Carabobo with national works. We are going to incorporate artists who come from other countries so that they leave a work in the streets and that cities become museums and that of a perception of aesthetics where culture flourishes ”, he said during his participation in the IV Bienal del Sur “Peoples in Resistance”.

During the event, the Head of State announced the delivery of certificates to the national winners of the Muralism, Landscaping and Communication Battle contest.

He sent his greetings and solidarity to the peoples of Africa, Asia, the Arab peoples, and expresses Venezuela’s willingness to maintain an inclusive and respectful cultural dialogue.
