The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced that starting next week, people over 60 years of age will be able to go to any vaccination center against covid-19, without prior appointment.
The president added that children and young people from 3 years to 18 years will also be given vaccines already experienced and proven, “because in October we go to face-to-face classes,” the president insisted.
He stressed that until now the vaccination rate had been 100 vaccines applied daily, but from next week the doses applied to 300 vaccines per day will triple.
In this sense, the President asked for a lot of discipline and to continue respecting the security measures to prevent the spread of the virus and to apply the vaccines that will continue to arrive in the country by the millions in the coming weeks.
