Deanna Reid, an educator and school life coordinator, comes from a small town in Puerto Rico. Growing up, she didn't have all the privileges an average child would require. Yet she did not let her unfortunate circumstances stand in the way of her success. She worked diligently and secured an overseas scholarship in the United States, where she did her bachelor's and masters in education. Her writing career began when she started writing blogs for students who were away from home and lived on campus. Later, she went on to publish a self-guide on surviving college on your own. She now continues to write on various topics and about people who are an inspiration for young people.
